Sep 25, 2008 - Delray Beach : Well, the wind slacked off and the swell started showing a little bit more, with sets breaking well overhead on the outside sandbar. The outside was a little mushy, but when the waves reached the inside, they stood up and some even provided barrels for a lucky few.

** Video Clip - Bertha - July 2008 : The video clip of the session from which the photos seen in the previous gallery were taken - the featured photo of the photo gallery is the same wave / surfer as this freeze-frame from the video clip. I have a custom mounting bracket that attaches to the top of my tripod, allowing me to mount and use both the still and video cameras at the same time, enabling me to get quality still shots and video of the same surfers riding the same waves. This was my first attempt using this dual mount, and seeing as how the results were great, you will be seeing much more video clips of my photo sessions in the near future.

Dec 3, 2008 - Lake Worth Pier : Unfortunately, the one really good day so far this year, I only had a quick break in my day to surf it, so there's no photos to go along with my session at Reef Road 2 weeks ago. Today was wishful thinking on my part. I had my board, my camera gear, and me ready to go in case of a swell showing up, but this is all we got. I scored some cool pier shots, anyways ... I'd ike to think so.

May '07 Swell - S. Palm Beach County : This was a swell generated from a record-breaking late season cold front that had offshore, overhead conditions for 4 days straight! This was before I was fully commited to working as a photographer, so I spent most of my time in the water and only got a few shots with a cheap point-and-shoot camera.

Jan '06 Swell - S. Palm Beach / N. Broward : This is your typical South Florida swell event, where you spend more time in the car chasing the swell around than you actually spend time in the water! This is evidenced by the number of photos that I took, considering that this was before I actually started working as a photographer - I definitely took more pictures than I caught waves on this day!

October '04 Swell - Stuart & Reef Road : At first light, Stuart was maxed out, while only a short drive south to Reef Road resulted in near perfection. Bear with me - this is was shot using a cheap point-and-shoot digital camera a long time ago. The photographic results aren't award-winning, but the waves are.
